Get Vaccinated. Get Back to School.

Helping Families Get Their Kids Healthy and Ready for the School Year

Keeping children up to date on their vaccines is an important part of preparing for childcare, 2K, and school, but parents and caregivers are often navigating questions, conflicting information, and uncertainty about what their children need. Building on the success of “Ask Questions. Get Answers. Vaccinate.,” DCF developed “Get Vaccinated. Get Back to School.” to cut through the confusion with a clear, timely message that helps families feel informed, confident, and ready to take action.

Drawing from the family-centered storytelling of the original campaign, the creative reflects the journey many parents experience, moving from a stylized animated world of questions and misinformation into live-action moments as answers become clearer. The campaign encourages parents and caregivers to turn to their child’s doctor for trusted guidance and make vaccination part of getting ready for the school year. To reach families across New York City’s diverse communities, the campaign was delivered across subway, digital, newspaper, and community placements, with materials available in more than a dozen languages, helping make reliable vaccine information accessible to families citywide.
