Ask Questions. Get Answers. Vaccinate.
Dispelling Parental Confusion Related to Childhood Vaccines
Childhood vaccinations are one of the most effective ways to protect children from serious and preventable diseases, yet many parents still have questions about when and why vaccines are needed. To support families in making informed decisions, DCF collaborated with the NYC Department of Health to launch “Ask Questions. Get Answers. Vaccinate.”—a citywide campaign encouraging parents to seek trusted information from their child’s doctor.
The campaign visually reflects the experience many parents face. Scenes begin in a stylized animated world filled with confusing, exaggerated, and sometimes misleading messages that represent the noise of misinformation. As parents turn to their child’s doctor with questions, the visuals transition into live-action reality—symbolizing the shift from confusion to clarity and reinforcing that trusted medical professionals are the best source for reliable vaccine information.
Produced organically in English and Spanish and distributed across television, digital, and citywide media placements, the campaign empowers New York City families to get answers—and keep their children up to date on recommended vaccines.
