Redefining Sex-Positive Strategies to Boost PrEP use

HIV disproportionately affects Latino communities, yet many are unaware of PrEP, a daily pill that significantly reduces HIV risk. DCF created a sex-positive, culturally sensitive campaign encouraging Latinos to consider PrEP as part of their sexual health plan. "¡Listos!" ("Ready!" in Spanish) is the first NYC awareness campaign to be conceived of and largely released in Spanish. To resonate with our diverse audience, this sex-positive campaign features a wide range of individuals in various types of sexual relationships. It also addresses myths and misconceptions surrounding PrEP, including its safety, effectiveness, and availability.
