Advocating for Mental Health Services

New Yorkers in need of mental health support, particularly Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin speakers, were not fully utilizing NYC Well services, largely due to lack of awareness. DCF addressed this by creating a campaign targeting the Latino and Chinese communities. Featuring portraits of individuals in vulnerable moments among a bustling city, the campaign emphasizes that NYC Well is always available to listen and assist those who feel isolated or alone, regardless of immigration status or insurance coverage—two common barriers that were specifically addressed.
